I had 2 girls and 1 boy fixed on Tuesday the 3rd. One little girl started chewing on her spay incision site after she woke up fully. I wrapped her up for a couple days, then unwrapped her and she immediately started ripping at her incision. I had to wrap her up again, and have left her until tonight. Since it's been about 4 days now since her surgery, I thought it would be healed enough to maybe unwrap her, but again she immediately started ripping at her incision, and even caused some bleeding and opened it a tiny bit. So now the poor thing is wrapped up again.

How long until it's safe to keep her unwrapped? The vet used sutures inside, and then glued it closed on top, and she's ripping off the glue. She looks so miserable in the wrap, I feel bad for her. But I don't want her to disembowel herself by ripping everything out.

How many more days should I wait before it's probably healed enough to be safe?
