Our 3 youngest rats live in a double critter nation together. I don't think anyone is over 300g, they're all still on the small side, but are about 6 months-ish old on average (three different ages). They are HUGE hoarders. I never know if they're out of food or not because the second I fill their normal food basket and bowl, they zoom around the cage with mouthfulls stashing it in diferent areas. With such a big cage and so many boxes, hammocks, spacepods, baskets, hidey toys etc, I can never be sure if they're ever truly out of food. I would hate to be wasting food by giving them more everyday when they have 8 different stashes around the cage that I don't know about..

If I give them kibbles once a day, how much do you think would be "safe" to feed them per day? I don't want to underfeed them and have them lose weight, but I don't want to waste food either. Maybe 1/2 cup per day?
