I use care fresh in his cage and picked up a bag of yesterdays news for the litter box. The smallest bag I could find said it was for ferrets. Thats ok, right?
I covered the bottom of the litter box with yesterday news then put every doodle I could find in the litter box. Is there anything else I should do? Any tips? How long does it normally take them to learn to use it?

Well your doing what your suppose to be doing! But when it comes time clean the cage and the litter box, keep some of the old poo's in there...unless of course Noah helps provide some freash ones :wink:


I think its up to the rat. It took my boys about 2-3 weeks to get the hang of it, although Jay has this thing about moving the box over so he can pee behind it, haha.
