Does anyone know any games that you can play with your rat while they're in their cage? (A wire one.) For example, if you want to keep them entertained and let them interact with you without having to try to get them in and out of the cage or if you're running low on time or something. I've put toys in for Remy but he's always more happy to play with humans, so any fun activities would be great.

My students, when they think I'm not looking, will sneak over and dangle string with treats or bangles attached to the end into the ratties' cage. The ratties love to chase it and pull it inside. Then they get busted and have to go back to doing math or whatever. : )
