I want to keep my rats in my bedroom! I am a VERY heavy sleeper, once I’m out,it’s IMPOSSIBLE to wake me up! Anyone else keep theirs in the bedroom?

As you know, rats smell, so proceed with caution! However, I don’t think there is anything wrong about that, as long as they don’t keep you awake (like you mentioned)!

Oh yeah, I've kept my rats in the bedroom. I keep the cage very clean and don't mind rat scent anyway, and find the noises from the activities comforting, actually. The only problem I found was having rats in the bedroom leads to having rats in the bed, and it's not the best situation for Rats and RatPappy.

Don't misunderstand me, Rats in bed are fine, and falling asleep with them on occasion is wonderful, but actually sleeping with them is, well, notso-hotso. Believe me, I know from experience!
