My brother burns a lot of incense across the hall to where I'm planning on putting my rats. I was wondering if this would bother them? And if it does, would closing the door to the room help?

closing the door would help. and i dont think its the greatest to have them around if its strong.

insence can irritate a rats delicate lungs - closing the door would be for the best...

Not to mention a lot of peoples lungs.
If you know anyone who has a sensitive respiratory system they would be able to tell you how uncomfortable that burning incense can be.
I'd say just try and keep the door closed, and open a window. But don't always keep the window open.. Just if you find that you can smell the incense strongly.
