Inverted penis & plugs??

Hello, a while ago I noticed one of my boys' penis is pretty much inside out. Also his urine has quite a stale fishy odour even when it's fresh. I read up and asked around and most say it's nothing to worry about. Then today it seemed quite swollen / protruding, so I gave it a gentle squeeze and this semi solid creamy coloured plug came out. I read that plugs are common in older and / or overweight males. He is only 8 months old and he's not particularly fat. Is this something I should be worried about? Should I take him to the vet or just keep an eye on it? He's almost hairless if that makes any difference. Thanks :)

It means he's either a lazy cleaner or is ill. Check every day, it can get all impacted and cause infections if left too long. Does his tail seem rather dirty? If so, he could be a lazy cleaner. Try watching him groom himself. You'll see him clean his junk if he does.
Thank you for your reply. He's really quite good with his cleaning. He's always at it. Although I do notice he spends a lot of time at / around his penis. He doesn't seem unwell. He's as lively and friendly as ever but I think I will take him to the vet to make sure. Thank you! :)
