You may or may not know that it turns out we are not going to be getting the rats (story- http://www.ratforum.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=2118.html)

However, I really like this forum and the people in it and I was wondering, is it alright if I stick around even though I have no rats and not much to contribute advice wise (unless it's about guinea pigs) ?

I have yet to get any rats, I'm in line for two from a breeder, but that is not a guarantee, if you love rats and you want to learn more then sure hang out, the people here are really cool, really smart, and really friendly! Also you could possibly get rescue rats in the future, so it would be a good idea to know a lot in case that happens!

I love rats, but with all of the guinea pigs and everything else, I don't know how realistic it would be for me to have any in the near future. I would love to learn more about them, I just wanted to make sure it was ok.

Yep, yep. I agree. You might get rats in the future so you should stick around and learn everything you can! Even if you don't, having the knowledge wont hurt nothing. tehe.
