Is stuffing from stuffed animals safe for rats and is the nesting stuffing they sell at the pet store safe or not? I want to make sure these are safe before I let my rats near them. I haven't been able to find anything on it, but maybe I'm just missing something. Anyone know?

I don't think it is very safe because they can choke on it and can get tangled in the stuffing, so please avoid using it.

No it isn't. It is a huge choking hazard. The nesting stuff I believe is okay but since there are so many other bedding options, it isn't really worth even a small risk. If I ever want to stuff anything, I use cotton batting which is safe.
