I've never built a cage before, but I decided to try my hand at making a cage using the "Cubes" method.
So, I ran next door to Target, and found some imitation "Cube" panels. I didn't like how big the holes were, then I saw this:

Same thing, except it's metal mesh, not big holes! It worked awesome, aside from the fact that I had to use a hammer and nail to widen the holes where I wanted to put in the zipties.
Overall, it's really sturdy, and they have 3 levels to play on now. I bought some shelve-lining vinyl and put it in the bottom to hold in the Carefresh, and the mesh is fine enough that most of it doesn't fall out the sides!
I think I'm going to buy another black one and make the boys cage bigger when I introduce Curly in a few weeks, and buy two of the pink sets for hte girls cage
I'll post pics when I get ahold of my roommate's computer.
