Hi, my rats are 7 weeks old tomorrow and I'll have had them two weeks. They were doing really well with the litter training they were only going in the litter tray when we had them out and we thought they were doing okay in the cage too. Over the last few days they have been going outside the litter tray when we've got them out of the cage. Also it seems that they keep pooing in their hammock as well as their litter tray when in the cage. Has anyone got any advice that could help?

The only advice I can really offer is to pick up all the poop that's outside of the cage and put it in their litter box so they can smell it more. If you do happen to see them go to poop or pee in the litter box, make a big deal of it and give them a treat and say "yes". If you see them pooping where they're not supposed to, say "no" and put them in their litter box and say "yes". This is what I've done and it has worked pretty good so far.
