So I just recently got two beautiful hairless ratties sisters and they are just to cute, but nother of them were very social with me... It was sad at first and I contected a lot of different people about the issuse. Turns out hairless rats are just by nature more timid because they can be hurt much more easily than a rat with fur. My breeder told me that I could cometo see her for a play date and take home a more social girl to help Penelope and Peach (my hairless babies) come out of their shells. Well low and behold! It worked! My girls are not only coming out for me to play with them, they are going onto other peoples hands that they only just met! All I can say is that if your babies are not being as social as you think they should be,you should get them a play mate that is much more social than them so they learn that its ok to be held and played with. It worked wonders for me! ;D
