I'm really happy that my two new girls seem to actually use their wodent wheel! But their cage is in my room, and it is soooo loud! The wheel moves, rattles on the stand, etc. is there a way to make it be quiet? I wish it attached to the cage... I can't sleep like this but I don't want to take it away, they love it!

Try oiling the joints where the wheel connects to the stand with olive oil. Is the floor or shelving where it sits wire? if it is I suggest zip tying the base to the flooring that it's resting on. Hope this helps!

No, it isn't wire floor. And oiling won't help, it's not that the wheel is squeaking, but rattling on the floor.

Can you zip tie the base to the back of the cage and zip tie the side bar to the side of the cage? That's what I did with mine. Also, make sure there aren't any rat raisins bouncing around in it.
