Sense the babies are getting ready to start walking I made a cage out of clear plastic bins. Yes I drilled a lot of holes in them and I keep it very clean C:. But today after Mama Rat had her play time and was put away she started chewing on one of the holes in the lid. I'm afraid she is gonna get through while I'm at my families for the holidays what should I do?

I would recommend possibly buying a tank and moving her into a tank temporarily that she cannot chew out of or moving her into a cage if her babies are large enough to not squeeze through the bars! It could be a little bit of a disaster if her and the babies get out when you are away!
