LoL, I guess the subject says it all...

My mean (but loveable) loner Matoska is getting spayed today. I'm nervous, nervous, nervous...she's my first rat ever to be spayed.

The good news is, she has bonded with a recent rescue named Delilah, and we're hoping the spay will further curb her (possibly) hormone-induced aggression.

Here's a pic of her, although I think I've already posted it before...

Wish us luck!

Anybody with experience in this area, anything I should expect that I may not know? Thanks all!

:D Thanks Captain.

So I was pretty nervous today when I dropped Matoska off, but I found out that my new vet owns rats! I was so excited, they just aren't that popular as pets around here.

So it's good to know that not only is she familiar with rat spays, but she is a "rat person" herself. :) It really helps me to feel better about it, but still worried...

Good luck. Get her some pain relief for the next few days.

I cried when I dropped Carrot off for her spay lol.
