It's one of the more unfortunate mutations people breed for since tailless rats can have trouble regulating their body temperature, not to mention they can have moderate to severe pelvic and hind leg deformities due to careless breeders (there are other possible issues that I can't remember at the moment). But...they're so darn cute!

Yes, someone told me about a person breeding them and selling them for forty bucks. Kaya did come from an irresponsible place, luckily she has not had any issues as of yet! Let's hope it stays that way.
