A few months ago I introduced my first rat Sushi, after reading I realised she needed a friend so I adopted a beautiful albino one eyed girl from the shelter I work at. Not sure how she lost her eye but it doesn't seem to hold her back, she is a bit more reserved than Sushi but perfectly friendly Meet Pirate!

How cute! As far as I know, one-eyed rats occasionally show issues with motion and balance, so I'd just make sure your cage is easy for her to move around in. I love rescues.

She moves around quite easily for being half blind, she came in with about 19 others whose previous owner had basically just let them free range around her house 24/7 so she's quite adapted to overcoming obstacles.
