so I just bought my rat recently form a local petsmart in my town. The first two days she was fine then when I woke up and let her cuddle me at her own pace she started making a chirp and then like a not throwing up but like wheezy noise real loud and I took her to the petsmart to get checked out I’m waiting on a call but i also am new to rats and freaked out and took her there just in case. I thought maybe it was her hiccuping but I can’t tell because she also made the noises that they show online for respiratory noises too. Could it have just been her trying to communicate because she was physically acting like herself but not vocally. The first few days she didn’t make any noises.
