Help!! My rat has a swollen belly
I'm not good at English. Sorry.
My dumbo has a swollen belly. She side and she tummy looks big. She cannot lie on her stomach. She looked uncomfortable. She is 2 year old. She drank a lot of water. She pee but not defecates and she doesn't eat
I took her to the vet.The vet examined her but couldn't exactly tell me what the problem was. she couldn't feel any hardness in her belly or anything. The vet gave she medication for flatulence but now she is not getting any better. She looks so tired.

Look up some pictures of pregnate rats, see if any of them match. (Also I don't care that your grammer isn't the best.)

Disappointing response from the vet then - Are you sure they know how to treat exotics?

Either pregnancy, or something wrong GI wise i'd guess, what are they being fed daily and what treats?

An x-ray would probably tell you what's going on, whether it's a GI issue or internal masses. Depending on what the issue is, your lady could be in pain so the "wait and see" strategy might not be in her best interest.
