my ras has one toe that is swelled. He seems to be walking fine. Could it be baubble foot? All of the flooring except for the ramps are covered. He is walking fine and is eating well, and is moving around fine. What could it be? By the way we are moving him pending his foot back in with his sisters--- we finally got the little one Koi and Ira reaquainted.

I couldn't get a picture he wouldn't stay still long enough. I looked at the pictures of Matties bumblefoot-- it doesn't look at all like that. His toe is just swelled a little. I guess we will just have to keep an eye on it.

Is there any injury to the nail? Bite marks etc? Usually when they've ripped out toenail or had any injury to their toe - caught it etc, it will become red and swell for a couple of days.

Keep an eye on it - if it's not better soon (give it a few days - if it's still not causing any problems) you may want to rethink and make an appt with the vet for some anti-inflammatorys
