My rat has an eye more closed that the other

Today I realised that one of my rat's eyes was slightly more closed that the other, I've had her for a short period of time so I'm kinda new at this, I don't know if I should worry or not. It has been like this for the whole afternoon.

This is it the morning after, idk if one eye is slightly bulging out or if the other is a bit closed for some reason. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do.

I recently heard of a condition called microphthalmia which is when a rat is born with one eye smaller than the other. It occurs in the womb during development and won't even out later. Maybe that is what your rat has? Apparently cats and dogs can also have this condition.
