I've heard Rufus toot once before, and after getting over the hysterics I researched it to make sure what I heard was actually correct. From what I read it's possible, and my ponders stopped there. However, I just heard him again literally 3 times in the past 10 minutes. Is this normal?

Not normal but not really anything to be concerned about unless it doesn't stop. Think back to something new he may have eaten that could have caused an upset tummy.

Moose was infamous in my classroom for climbing into a student's hoodie for a snuggle...and then letting the chemical weapon toots slowly waft to fill their hoods, lol! He had been on baby oxbow when he was at the pet store, even though he was probably too old for it, and we think the transition caused him to be a bit gassy.

Probably nothing to worry about.
