Your Theodore looks like a very happy, no-nonsense Rat who had little interest in other rats but only loved you. I've had older Rats who outlived siblings, and chose to be Odd Couple with them instead of putting them through the stress of meeting young whippersnappers 🤪 please don't feel guilty. You have a love bond, and remember, Love is eternal, separation temporary. Rat loss is murderous but I speak from experience, the pain fades with time and pure joy remains.💖✨.
