Hello, today I noticed that my rat had a bloody nose after sneezing a lot. I also saw it the first day that i brought him home, but i didnt think much of it because he could have scratched it somehow. Can you please give me some tips on how to help her get well?

That's called porphyrin, it's pretty much just rat boogers. It looks like blood, but it's not

That's definitely porphyrin. Rats typically have small amounts of it around their eyes and nose, but a lot of porphyrin might mean they're stressed or having a respiratory issue. If you have recently switched their bedding, it can be from extra dust in it. My rats groom it off usually within the same day it appears, but if they don't, you can wipe it off with an unscented baby wipe or damp paper towel🙂
