Hi! My rats fight like, 3 times a day. I'm not sure if they are fighting for dominance, or if they're just playing. Because they're females, they don't really bite each other, just tackle, and push around the other ratty. Are they supposed to fight this often?

They'll play fight and sometimes actually fight, its just purely a show of dominance. Sometimes sibling rivalry if they're of the same litter.

Okay, thanks! I'm not sure if they're from the same litter or not, I got them from a pet store.

If they wrestle around looking kind of excited and chase each other, this is most likely rough and tumble play and a sign of good welfare. If one constantly chases the others, there is extended squealing (not just breif chirps), subordinate rats hiding all the time, or injuries, that is a sign of a problem.
