I've had them for about half a year now I think. They are both girls, but not from the same litter. My older one is always lifting up the tail of the younger one and chasing her around and making her squeak. It sounds like she's being bullied or is in pain. I see them grooming each other and cuddling each other, and i dont see any blood. So is it just normal rat play fighting or is the younger one being bullied and abused ? 馃槦

Most of the rats I've owned have fought with each other in a playful way. It depends on how the squeaking sounds, if it's a loud prolonged high pitched squeak then she could be getting hurt but in general even when rats play fight they squeak a little, they often force groom each other too. It sounds normal to me anyway.

Sounds normal to me as well. I'll hear Neera squeak occasionally when Dela is messing with her, but it's never aggressive from what I can tell. Dela and Neera snuggle and fight over food very good naturedly. :3
