Hi! So I’m planning to make my rat cage naturalistic when I get 2 new future rats. I’ll leave a link to the article I’m reading about on how to do it, but I’m wondering if you guys have any product recommendations that you use or have heard of? Links and any recommendations would be very helpful along with tips and tricks! Also I have a single critter nation! Thank you so much and have a great day! 🐀🌱

You can find lots of wooden and rope critter accessories on Etsy.com

I'm not sure if tree branches found outside are safe to use. Some types of tees have toxic wood, parasites may be hiding in cracks, etc.

One of the comments in that article mentions a "Naturalistic and Bioactive Rat Setups facebook page". That may be a good place to ask about how to set up a naturalistic cage with safe materials.
