I got a new rat who I made a post about earlier and i’ve had her for a few hours and she doesn’t seem to be interested in food, water, or treats. I’m concerned because Ill be going to sleep soon but I wanna make sure shes eating and drinking before I do.

Just keep food out in the bowl for the rat to eat when hungry. For the water, be sure the water bottle is full and is working properly. Tap the sipper tube end and make sure water comes out. Stressed out rats may only eat when its dark and quiet.
i scatter feed, but thank you, everything is working fine im just gonna keep my fingers crossed.

That’s normal. Update us tomorrow if she still isn’t. Try feeding her some liquid treats like yogurt, applesauce, malt paste, or baby food :)
Gave her some sour cream which is basically yogurt, she didnt take it but she did drink water so thats good!

Still not eating, her breeder recommended amoxicillin but I don’t really know much about it, apparently shes been having it since she was little.
