I got my two girls a buddy. Shes hairless and a bit older. But my girls are loving little troublemakers. So they immediately accepted the new girl. All is fine. no fights. tonite is the first nite they are in the same cage.

Now i'm gonna spend a good few hours watchin and supervising. i doubt any problems will arise.

Ok, so i'm totally stumped on a name...

I wanna name her a fancy brittish queen like name. any ideas?

Her ratty friends are Cocoa Chanel and Marie Antoinette.

Also, what do you all refer to your rats as. Like do you say your rats are sisters/brothers to eachother? or roomates?

How about something like Charlotte Elizabeth, then you have millions of nicknames to play with... Lizzy, Bethy, Charly, Lottie, etc...lol

There's always "Victoria," one of the greatest British queens. "Vikki" for short.

As for what I refer to them as, usually 'brothers', but recently I have the brothers, the twins (to whome the brothers are uncles). :lol: Just because I like to make it harder on myself.

I think that Akbar and Jeff from Matt Groening's strip, "Life In ****," are brothers. They look exactly alike, and have a love/hate relationship, which is really funny.

I think it would be fun to call a rat "Akbar."

Of course, it helps if you've read the strip, and know how the characters are constantly flipping between love and hate for one another...hilarious.

An example of the "hate" part was the following "advertisment" for a book:

"WHILE DINING ONE DAY AT THE SNACK BAR"

i call my two all sorts of things.

mozart acts like the annoying little attention-grubbing sister to picasso, so i usually call them sisters.

sometimes i ask picasso where her baby is, as if mozart were her daughter (but really they're so close in age).

and then sometimes they mount eachother so i tell my friends that my rats are lovers, and i ask mozart where her lover is. XD

...eh, it'd work better if they were boys.

i refer to them as buddies, and sisters, and whatever comes to mind.

mine are just "the girls"... although my mother is their grandmother, my brother is their uncle and my daughter is their sister and i'm their mummy...
