I got my new rat from Petsmart on August 5, 07!
his name is Romeo and he is a sweetheart.
He is still a little shy, but loves to be on me.

Right now, he is sleeping on my lap. =]
I'm so happy!

Sometimes he chatters his teeth when hes on my lap..whats that mean?

And sometimes he sniffs my fingers and nips a them a little....what does that mean?

Chattering teeth... grinding teeth is called bruxing... means comfort, nervousness, etc. Helps them grind down their teeth.

Sniffing and nipping your fingers... you could smell like food, or he could be trying to groom you a little.
