My new rats arrived today 😄

Jennie is the agouti. Rose is the darker one, supposedly black and white but I don't see any white on her and her coloring is more very dark brown than black. I may change their names to something more fun.

They're adorable!! Just for next time, make sure to quarantine in a separate airspace for two weeks! It keeps them from getting sick from each other. I hope they all get along! I saw your intros post- it might be best to try neutral space intros first (in a bathtub!) and then do cage intros (in a bare cage, as in no hides, but getting rid of the smells altogether isn't necessary) and you should be good!

My friend saw that picture and said "spider pig" 😅

Rose is hiding behind the dig box on the bottom of the cage. Jennie hides on the shelf way in the back behind the fleece cube. I think she found the hole in the fleece liner (thanks, Howie 🙄) and has explored underneath. I saw her use the bottle this morning. Not sure if Rose has eaten or drunk anything.
