I'm SO excited!

First I'll tell you about Charlotte, then about myself and my little zoo.

Charlotte is about 10 months old and was rescued from a bad situation by someone who had another little girl rat. Charlotte was fed just junk and is VERY overweight. Well, Charlotte is aggressive to this girl's other rat and she needs to place Charlotte in a one rat home. That's where I come in!

So I will be picking up Charlotte this weekend and I'm so excited! I guess she just loves to be cuddled and snuggled and will fall asleep on you. She loves dogs and cats which is good since I have several! lol

Now, about my zoo. I have four dogs (two German Shepherds and two Chinese Cresteds), four cats, and two parrots (a Goffin's Cockatoo and a Senegal). All the cats are rescues, the Senegal parrot is a rescue, and the two Chinese Cresteds are a rescue. Catching a theme here? I believe very stongly in rescue. Not to say that I am 100% against breeding, as I am not if it is done RESPONSIBLY and for the betterment of any breed. But I know myself that I would never breed. I will leave that to professionals! I'm very content to rescue!

I can't wait to find out more about these little guys! I have wanted a rat for so long and this just looks like such a perfect one to get! I'm very very excited to show her off and will take some pictures of her when I get her all settled in!

Welcome! Charlotte sounds like a sweety! I hope you can get her weight under control, its not heathly for rats to be overweight and they don't enjoy it :( .

Bless you for rescueing her and all you animals! All my kids are rescues also. I go off on a rant about breeding at least weekly :? .
