All of Ila's 16 babies are healthy but one has something on it's foot. I can't tell if it's an injury or growth of some sort. The baby seems healthy otherwise. It has a milk band and is super active. Any ideas?

How does she/he act when you touch or squeeze it? Does it seem painful or that it doesn't like it when it's pinched? It looks almost like a build up of blood like a bruise, maybe some kind of birth trauma? But I can't imagine anything heavy/strong enough to bruise. Except could the mom have maybe bit and pulled on the foot to move or pull out the baby and it got bruised? Hard to tell from the tiny pic and tiny foot. Glad they all are healthy! best wishes with them

It looks like a typical newborn bruise. Its not abnormal for them to occur during a heavy birth, or for mum to tread a bit heavily on one of them. They are nothing to worry about and should disappear in a couple of days. If it swells up more then it may be worth investigating as it might be an infected wound or similar, but your very limited with what you can do with a baby that young.
