I've seen things that say it's a very good idea to give your rats newspaper as bedding, nesting, etc. While in other cases I see places that say the ink from the paper can hurt them if they swallow it. Anyone want to put an end to the controversy?

Non-soy based inks are bad.

In general, no paper with ink on it...just to be safe.
