first off, sorry for any random letters thrown in, godiva is exploring the keyboard
my rat cage is at the foot of my bed.
well, at4 night i've been hearing fights lately. i don't know who's starting what, but i'll hear loud shrieks and turn on the light but by the time i look they are on opposite sides of the cage.
I also noticed the other day when i had both of them out, they were humping each other, which i assume is a sign of dominance, like in dogs.

Any suggestions on what to do? The fights seem to happen close to the time that i fill their food dish. there's more than enough for both of them. do you think having 2 dishes would solve anything, or should i leave it alone and let them make their pecking order?

If they haven't been together prior they will need to set their dominance. Otherwise, they could just be having fun (squeaking always sounds louder at night. )
