Hi!
I´ve been hanging around this forum for a little while, and have decided it´s time to jump in an introduce myself!
I´m a student of Air Traffic Control at the University of North Dakota, although I´m studing in Spain right now (but classes end tomorrow!). I´ll be going into my junior year, and finally getting an apartment next semester, and it´s high time I got rats again, after two years of dorm!
I´ve had 11 rats from about 2nd grade until my sophomore year in high school (small break about eigth grade), and a few mice, too. But rats are by far the superior pet!
My main question is, does anyone know any breeders in the eastern North Dakota or Minneapolis/St Paul/Western Minnesota areas who breed, well, something other than hooded, planned for an early September pickup (specifically, Labor day weekend)? I would love Siamese, but a pair of any solid light color would be fine. Or masked. And if anyone breeds dumbo in that area... perfect! I had a dumbo once, she was the best rat ever. I know that had nothing to do with it, but now dumbos have a very pleasant association for me. I´ve just always had PetCo hoodeds (and very great rats, all of them), but I´d like to try something a little more exotic (to me), and to see what breeder rats are like.
Thanks!
