its £55 per rat to get them nutered but its only £25 for a cat?!?!? i think im gunna shop around and do some research 1st! theres quiet a few vets in my area that i have found that care 4 rats

Well, you should take into consideration that rats are much smaller than cats, and are therefore much harder to work with for the vet. But, do shop around for price quotes and see what you can find :)

At my vet, rats are considered "exotic" and exotic animal care is more costly than dog/cat care...at least at my vet.

Maybe neutering/spaying is more involved for small animals.
