Nanook was spayed yesterday. She's making a good recovery, but her pain meds have worn off and I'm wondering if she's uncomfortable. I see a pain grimace in this photo, does anyone else agree? She's been lively today, but squirming around a lot which the doc says is normal - they pull in their abdomen to stretch the spay incision. You can this in the photo.

I have some Metacam left over from my rabbit's spay. I have no idea how much to give her.

I called the vet but unfortunately she's off today. They're currently trying to reach her for info.

Anyone want to weigh in on this?

Just posting an update: The vet got back to me and told me how to dose the Metacam for her. All is well!

The Metacam is working! After a nap she's up and looking to play. But the vet gave strict orders - "NO PLAYING for 72 HOURS" haha. As if I can keep her from playing. . .

Here's the spay incision in case anyone is curious:
