It's hard to tell from the picture but does the rug have loops? Or is it just kind of shaggy? Loops might catch feet and toes and potentially cause injury.

Its actually an ikea bathmat! i did use fleece however my girls are huge chewers so I needed something a bit more resilient. It has no loose threads, and is perfectly safe so their little tootsies shouldn’t get caught in it.

And thank you! Thats an ikea tie holder and is a staple in the rat communities I am in
