I have been sowing hammocks and tubes and things for the last 2 hours...

I am getting tired of seeing fleece everywhere. And better yet, the fleece has Ducks on it.

My boys better be happy when they get the cage remodel.

Re: Hammocks

It's easy to get tired of seeing the same material over and over again if you're sewing with the same stuff :p Believe me, I completely sympathize and understand.

Cube hammocks, blankets, braided fleece rope toys, fleece scraps could be used as a nest soft bed, standard hammock with fleece scraps sewn inside so it's like a pillow, et cetera.

You could braid the fleece into a rope or something, maybe. Or stretch it out really tight and the rats could use it as a ramp....Or it could just be nesting material. Or make it into a pinata by putting treats in it and hanging it up. Or if it's cold where you live, cut out a rectangle, sew up the sides like a pillowcase and leave one side open (for now), fill it up loosely with rice, then sew the open end closed. You could microwave it for a little while until it's warm, but not hot, then put it in their cage and they can snuggle with it. Or if it's hot where you live, put it in the refridgerator and give it to them so that it's cool.
