is it a good idea to introduce to baby rat to an older male rat?

The older male rat recently lost his cage mate and best friend and he is really lonely so we've decided to introduce to baby rats to The older male rat

does anyone have any tips for introducing a baby rat to older rats!
the older male rat is very genital and loves EVERYTHING and not aggressive

I would definitely introduce the babies. There are tons of youtube videos on how to introduce rats and I have found that the carrier method works best. I will try to find some links.
