one of my new boys ( 10 weeks old ) has quickly gotten nippy at anything ( including fingers ) outside the cage bars. i know it is from the 2 times he was given treats through the bars but now he just grabs and runs which can hurt when he does it to a finger. is there anything i can do to stop the behaviour ( i already told everyone in the house not to give treats through the bars anymore)

There really isn't a whole lot you can do at this point except for what you're already doing (telling people to not feed treats through the bars). Over time he should learn that nothing coming through the bars should be mouthed. At this time, though, you shouldn't put ANYTHING through the cage, especially fingers.
