I am taking in two more rat girls. I've only had the trio for two weeks and the two girls I am taking in came from the same place. Is a quarentine needed?

Same place? Petstore? Where are they from? If you can guarantee no new rats in or out of the place, and no visitors that may have touched an infected rat you can forego QT. LOL. So yeah I would QT to play it safe. If it had only been a few days that would be one thing but weeks ago is too much time.

Not a petstore no. They were an oops litter. You're right though. To play it safe I think I should.

I definitely would. Even if they were int he same place you don't know that some one didn't come in that had sick rats at home. Stick with the QT it is always better to be safe than sorry LoL

I was just wondering others opinions.... I am paranoid about my current gals getting sick so I probally would of done so anyways. Thank-you very much for the responses.
