I have made two sets of everything for both cages out of fleece but after reading another thread it occurred to me that fleece accessories might get too hot for the girls to use regularly in the summer. Do you use regular cotton fabrics for warmer weather or do you use the fleece stuff year round? I don't expect it to get too hot for the girls, we have a/c after all, but I'd hate for them to get uncomfortable in their tunnel hammocks (their current favorite hiding spot).

I actually made tunnel hammocks out of my son's outgrown long sleeved t-shirts. If you don't have a young child with outgrown clothes you can go to goodwill or someplace like that and pick some up for 25 cents each and make it out of those. Old Navy's long sleeved t shirts are super thin and work nicely and they get nice air flow in their tunnels.

naw, if they get to hot, you will know. just keep water, and your good to go.
