I've heard of ambassators for other animals, can rats be ambassators?I guess they can, because,I had a friend over yesterday, she saw how sweet Ollie ws,and now she wants a rat. Ollie would be a great ambassator, because,he is adorable, swee, and tollerant. If you sit down with him,he will just climb all over you.Today,I might get another rat of mice,I'm so excited!=3

that's funny, because i always speak of my little clementine as my "rat ambassador to the human world." she's so sweet and friendly that even people who start out thinking rats are "icky" fall in love with her. to quote my apprehensive cousin the other day, "oh... she's cute. i mean, she's a rat, but she's so cute..."

I use Betty as a rat ambassador. Even my grandma likes her (she doesn't like rats really at all). I know a few people who don't like her too much, but my dad is the only one who won't even touch her (he won't touch my cats either, so it's not that surprising). So her little bald bum is wining the hearts of a few people at least.

Of course the 'hairys' will have an easier time of wining people over with their diabolical 'cuteness'. Especially if they're dumbos IMO! Though Berkshire/aguoti colors might have a harder time too, since they more closely resemble their wild cousins.
