Hi. It looks like fur mites. Ivermectin is usually prescribed for fur mites. A veterinarian can prescribe it (and also confirm if it is mites). I have had years of experience with mites, so now I order Ivermectin paste (oral) online, but the initial diagnosis and medication should be given by a vet. My vet normally gave the injectable.

Yes, that looks like mites. Kitten Revolution is what my vet recommends, just a tiny drop between the shoulders like you would a cat. Very small, like the head of a pin. You may want to do a second application if they need it in two weeks. Treat both at the same time. Good luck!

 

I did not know about Kitten Revolution! That is great to know! Sounds much better than trying to convince them to eat the paste or get an injection!

 

i think i put a little bit more than a head of a pin. should i wash them and do it again?
