rat poop has a string in it worms?!
My rat poop has what looks like a string coming out of it. It best looks like a rat tailed maggot. Its not all the time but its happened a couple times since hes suddenly got loose squishy poops (not diarrhea) hes had this for a few weeks now.
Is it a worm Or is it just diet related?

They looked exactly like that! Though the tail was a bit shorter.
Are you sure it wasn't an oddly shaped poop? Did you happen to squish it or anything?
They can look like this if they come out as a big poop and then a stringy bit on the end. If the poop is completely still it's probably not worms. It might be worth a check up in case it's a bowel blockage causing the stringy bit. Hope that's not the case. Maybe just constipation.
