Rats are supposed to eat a pound of food per month so you can sort of work it out from there depending on how many rats you have.

I've kinda been winging it with my three. I've got cat bowl sized dish on one level and a small hamster sized one on the bottom (just to provide an extra place to eat as one of my rats likes to shove others away from the bowl) and I just keep them topped up at all times. It does seem to work out at about a pound a month per rat judging from how quickly I get through a ratrations order.

I feed mine between 15 and 20g per rat per month of a very similar mix (amount you feed varys a lot to the kind of food you feed and amount of nutrients in it), i would recommend starting with the lower end of that amount and then feed them more if they start getting skinny. I would also reocmmend scatter feeding and make sure you dont give them more unless theyve finished the food the day before.
