We just got a bunny! Our goal is for her to become a house pet with the added bonus of wool production.

We have three pet rats. Our bunny is absolutely fascinated by the rats. The girls are fine with having a giant, fluffy rat to hang out with, but largely ignore her.

The bun loves to follow the rats around, and will binky and race around the room when one of the girls is kind enough to sniff her back. The rats will groom her and hang out, but aren't aggressive.

Is there any imminent danger of letting them play together under supervision? If the rats were chasing her or the bun seemed like she was scared or territorial, my decision would be easy. However, the rats are unbothered and the bunny seems to enjoy having a friend close to her size.

Not sure if this is pertinent information, but our bunny is 9 weeks old, and we plan on having her spayed as soon as she's old enough. I'm not going through all the trouble of litter training a bunny only to have hormones ruin it.
