Me and my brother each have a pair of rats, mine just smell like rat pee, however very recently my brother's rats (or at least their pee) have started smelling really sweet (they smell kinda like maple syrup). My first thought was diabetes, I did a bit of research and maple syrup urine disorder was suggested, but I saw a lot of people online reporting the same thing and their rats are perfectly healthy. Does anyone have any experience with this issue, or can offer any advice??
